What does the PTA do?

Making every child’s potential a reality is the overarching vision for all Parent Teacher Associations. At Wells Branch Elementary, we pursue this vision by sponsoring activities that enhance and expand our students’ experience beyond the classroom. We do this through our annual programs that help reinforce lessons taught in the classroom, while our funding of class field trips and other activities help open up the world beyond the classroom walls. We also provide supplies, equipment, and other items when they’re needed.

Get involved

There is no better way to show support for your school and your students than by joining the PTA. Anyone can join: parents, grandparents, and friends. And membership gives you discounts on theme parks, hotels, computers, cell phones and more.

We can always use volunteers to help with our programs and activities. Many opportunities require as little as 30 minutes. You can participate before, during, or after school  – either on campus or at home. We will work with you to find an opportunity that best fits your schedule.

Keep in touch

We use both our website as well as our Wells Branch PTA Facebook page to keep members up to speed on upcoming events, volunteer needs, school news and other things. This is a great way to stay connected to us.

Our general membership meetings take place on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Wells Branch Elementary cafeteria. These are kid-friendly events, with food and drinks available for purchase, so bring the whole family. The first 15 minutes is usually spent on PTA business, but the rest of the time features entertainment.
