With STAAR test time approaching, we are so excited that YOGA will be offered to all our WBE students in Kinder – 5th grade, in their regular PE classes from April 6th – 17th. Students will learn specific yoga-inspired techniques for managing stress and anxiety, maintaining focus, and building physical strength, balance, and flexibility.
To make the experience as beneficial as possible, we could use some yoga-savvy volunteers. Volunteers will simply practice along with the students, following the teacher’s lead while modeling a positive, mindful and safe practice. This will be a fun opportunity to practice yoga with your kids and see what they are learning in PE!
