To: Wells Branch Elementary PTA Membership
To maintain Good Standing with Texas PTA, and Wells Branch Elementary PTA, we must update and/or amend new Bylaws (and Standing Rules, if applicable) with Texas PTA at least once every three years. Wells Branch Elementary PTA Bylaws and Standing Rules were last approved by Texas PTA on 11/20/2019.
A committee was formed to review both the bylaws and newly created standing rules to ensure that no conflicts were created with any new proposals and was approved by the Wells Branch PTA Executive Board on 3/14/2023. The amendments to the bylaws and the newly created standing rules require approval by the WBE PTA membership, with a 30-day notice. This posting serves as a 30-day notice and the proposed amendments to the Bylaws and Standing Rules will be voted on at the WBE PTA membership meeting on 5/16/2023.
The proposed changes are attached and listed in the Bylaws Snapshot Worksheet at the bottom of the document. The newly created Standing Rules are also attached and were created because there was nothing on file with the Texas PTA.
