Yesterday morning, the PTA hosted Autumn Hebert to facilitate a discussion on some of the technology tools available to parents at Wells Branch Elementary and Round Rock ISD.

Parent Coffee

During the talk, she introduced us to the Home Access Center, which is the standardized tool across RRISD for keeping track of grades and student performance in the classroom.  Also, she introduced a tool called Atomic learning, which provides several different tutorials for technology use.

Also, if you’re curious about how students are using technology in the classroom you can find out more information at their blog here: https://sites.google.com/a/roundrockisd.org/getting-i-t-right-at-wbes/getting-i-t-right

It was awesome to hear about our third graders doing a Google Hangout on Recycling with some University of Notre Dame representatives!
