Tuesday - December 8 - WBE PTA General Membership Meeting. After a brief meeting that begins at 6:30, the Wells Branch Chorale (4th and 5th Grades) will perform a holiday musical - "CHRISTMAS AROUND THE CLOCK!" Families are invited. A light snack will be provided.
Monday - Friday - December 7 - 11 - Book Fair.
Come to the WBE Library to view an incredible selection of books,
where you will find the latest and greatest titles for both children

Monday - Friday - December 14 - 18 - Holiday Shop. Student
will have the opportunity to shop for their family members and friends
from items ranging in costs of 25 cents to $15.00. Students will be
visiting the shop at assigned times with their teacher. Parents are
welcomed to shop anytime between 8:00 and 2:40. If you would to
volunteer to help with the Holiday Shop, please contact the volunteer

Tuesday - January 12 - WBE PTA General Membership Meeting. Meeting begins at 6:30 pm. We are proud to have as our program speaker Dr. Jeevan Perera. Dr. Perera is currently the Technical Manager within the Orion Project. Orion is NASA's new spacecraft which replaces the Space Shuttle, will service the International Space Station, then return astronauts to the moon and eventually mount expeditions to Mars. Currently, he manages the day-to-day responsibilities of the Orion Project's business and project planning roles. Formerly as the Orion Project andInternational Space Station Risk Manager, he designed, developed, implemented and improved the agency's risk management processes through a phased, systematic approach setting the standard for NASA's risk practice. Prior to this work, he has work in different technical fields in support of many NASA programs and and projects. These duties have included management responsibility for versions of the primary and back-up flight software for the Space Shuttle and development responsibility for other software usedaboard Space Shuttle and International Space Station missions. Dr Perera has been with NASA for over 20 years and has both a Jurisprudence Doctorate and a PhD in Industrial Engineering.
Thursday - February 25 - International Fair.
